Scholarship Program
The Deerfield Bannockburn Riverwoods Chamber of Commerce Dollars for Scholars
chapter is pleased to offer three college Scholarships to graduating high
school seniors residing in the 60015 zip code. A community service scholarship
in the amount of $1,000 and two $5,000 science scholarships funded by Takeda
Pharmaceuticals North America, Inc. will be awarded in April 2008. The
scholarships are applicable at the college/university of the student’s choosing
and are for a period of one year and are not renewable. Financial need is not a
factor in determining the recipient. A criterion for each scholarship is
available on the scholarship applications.
