DBR Business of the Year Awards Presented

The Deerfield Bannockburn Riverwoods (DBR) Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2023 Business of the Year Award was presented to two local businesses in Deerfield, Illinois.  Deerfield Bank & Trust and KGH Autism Services were presented this prestigious award at the DBR Chamber of Commerce 96th Annual Holiday Luncheon on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Ravinia Green Country Club in Riverwoods, Illinois.

 

The DBR Chamber of Commerce presents this award annually to a Chamber member business that has shown outstanding service and/or products and has made a positive effect on our communities.

 

Deerfield Bank & Trust, part of the Wintrust family, is a true community bank. Their commitment to the Deerfield community is demonstrated by their ongoing support of local businesses and civic organizations.

 

KGH Autism supports job growth in our communities by employing and attracting clinicians from across the state and country.   Their support of awareness and advocacy about autism is evident by webinars, workshops and leadership initiatives.   Whether it be through their strategic partnerships or participation in community events like the Deerfield Family Days-Sensory Friendly Area, KGH enhances the lives of those affected by autism.

Board of Directors News

The DBR Chamber is pleased to announce the addition of Mathew Kerbis, The Subscription Attorney, to the DBR Board of Directors. We extend a warm welcome to Mathew as he joins our team in guiding the Chamber towards future success. As a highly experienced and knowledgeable member of the legal community, we are confident that Mathew's insights and expertise will greatly benefit our organization and its members. We look forward to working with Mathew and are excited for the contributions he will bring to the Board. Once again, welcome Mathew!

Thank you so much to Martha O'Bryan, Walgreens,  for her dedicated service and unwavering commitment to our organization. For an impressive 10 years, Martha has been an integral member of our Board of Directors and has played a crucial role in our success. Her contributions have been invaluable and we are truly grateful for her unwavering support and tireless efforts. Throughout her tenure, Martha has been a strong advocate for our cause and has continuously worked towards promoting our mission and values. She has been a driving force in our government advocacy efforts.   Martha's extensive knowledge and experience in the health and wellness industries have been instrumental in shaping our strategies and initiatives. We cannot thank Martha enough for her invaluable contributions and her unwavering dedication to our organization. 

Bill Hunt, HTML Global has dedicated 5 years of his time to our organization. His expertise in all things tech and digital has been an invaluable asset to the Chamber. His contributions and guidance have greatly helped us in our operations. 

 

During the pandemic, Bill was our guide from Zoom, remote working applications, to telephones. 

 

We wish Bill the best of luck and thank him for his service and are so happy he continues to participate as a member and give us tech and digital guidance.
