Description
Are you interested in learning more about our local Police Department and community? Please register to attend our very own Deerfield Police Department's Citizen's Police Academy. There is only room for 10 participants to ensure engaging and educational conversations, so hurry up and register now! Attendance is free upon Police Department approval, and please note that all applicants are required to submit to a background check prior to approval.
The Citizen’s Police Academy is an eight-week program designed to enhance communication between the police department and the community. Participants are instructed in a variety of law enforcement topics by officers who specialize in those areas. In addition, participants have the option of riding with an officer on patrol and participating in hands on activities.
