Featuring H. Cameron Hinds, CFA
Wells Fargo Private Bank
Chief Investment Officer, Central Region
At a time of great political and economic uncertainty, resilience will be an essential quality for successful investment and business planning. To explore the challenges and opportunities ahead, the Northbrook, Glenview, DBR Chambers will welcome H. Cameron Hinds of Wells Fargo Private Bank as the featured speaker at the 2020 Economic Outlook Breakfast. This year?s event will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, September 22 at 8:00 a.m.
Over the past six months, the U.S. and Global economies have been hit with a string of unique events: the global pandemic, an economic shut-down, historical fiscal spending and Federal Reserve stimulus, an oil price crash and civil unrest. Despite the ongoing challenges, US stocks are again at record highs while interest rates remain around the lowest levels seen in decades. Plus, the November election is the next major wild card. In his presentation, Hinds will provide perspective on the continuing uncertainties along with guidance on long-term opportunities. He will also respond to questions from the audience.
Hinds is the chief investment officer for the Central region of Wells Fargo Private Bank, serving as the regional investment thought leader through his insight and interpretation of the economy and financial markets. He also serves on the Wealth Management Investment Policy Committee that oversees the investment function for Investment and Fiduciary Services. He has more than 35 years of investment management experience and is widely quoted in media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Bloomberg, Barron?s and CNBC.com. A CFAⓇ charterholder, Hinds is a past president and director of the CFA Society Nebraska.
