Elderwerks is always available to help. During the pandemic Elderwerks continues to assist seniors and their families finding care at home, senior housing and respond to questions about benefits and available services as needed.
Make a Senior Smile Elderwerks continues our Make a Senior Smile campaign bringing joy to seniors who are alone in their apartments or homes. Thousands of cards, art and letters poured in and we are delivering to our most vulnerable population!
Masks for Seniors Elderwerks has collected over 800 homemade masks from community members to distribute for free at our Center and other locations on May 8th from 9 am to 12 pm.
Education Elderwerks has offered over 60 educational classes through webinars during April and May. These classes are currently being offered to community members and also professionals requiring continuing education credits.
Support Group Elderwerks created Mindful Mondays in webinar format to support anyone needing a bit of joy in their day. This group was formed as an outlet for anyone needing to talk and finding support through other attendees.
Book Club Elderwerks book club is also virtually attended. The book club meets to discuss the current book and learn about others during the process.
During #GivingTuesday if you are thinking of donating, please consider Elderwerks. With your help we can continue supporting any senior needing help navigating the world after retirement.
