The Village of Deerfield Police Department is seeking applications for Entry Level Police Officers.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications for Police Officer:
Applicants for the position of Police Officer must met the following minimum qualifications and requirements at the time of application:
- A citizen of the United States with a valid Driver’s License
- At least 21 years of age but not yet 35 at time of application
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
- Must agree to comply with all requirements of the position and have the ability to pass all examinations and training requirements
A written exam will be administered on:
June 10, 2023
Applicants who successfully meet the qualifications for the position will be sent details about the written exam via email. At the written examination applicants must provide proof of successful completion of the POWER test within the last six months. POWER Cards accepted from NIPSTA, Joliet Junior College and Triton College. See those organizations for dates/time and registration information.
