Fields of Honor Display to Honor Veterans this November
From November 7-11, 2025, the Village of Deerfield will host a Field of Honor display at Jewett Park, featuring 500 American flags in tribute to veterans and active-duty service members, Residents may sponsor flags to honor persona; heroes. Proceeds support Midwest Veterans Closet and Lake County Honor Flight.

At Monday’s Village Board meeting, Mayor Dan Shapiro and the Board of Trustees proudly presented a proclamation recognizing World Down Syndrome Awareness Day on March 21 to representatives from Gigi’s Playhouse Deerfield.
