The Deerfield Area Historical Society offers free tours on Sundays, from 2 to 4 p.m., June through September. The Historic Village features several restored 19th-century buildings, including the oldest building in Lake County and a one-room schoolhouse that has been a favorite of children for many years. Admission is free.
Family friendly events for all ages include:
- June 8 ? Wheels Through Time: Explore vintage cars, bicycles, buggies, cars and more.
- June 22 ? Civil War Living History: Reenactor, displays and get an old-time photo taken.
